Artist's Description

šŸ“ CaƱo Cristales

Very close to the municipality of La Macarena, in the department of Meta (Colombia), is located what today is considered by many as the "most beautiful river in the world": CaƱo Cristales. .
It is also known by the name of the "River of the five colors" (yellow, blue, green, red and black), because in its transparent and pure waters you can see aquatic plants, sand and beautiful rocky formations in its bed.

It is not a very wide or abundant river, that is why the locals call it "CaƱo". It does not really exceed 20 meters in its widest part. Its length does not go beyond 100 kilometers. Its source is in the southern plateau of the Serranƭa de La Macarena, in Meta.
